In our article, we will tell you how to do it correctly.Let's start right with the purchase. There are several options here. You can purchase the entire set of headlights specifically for your car brand at once. You can buy a universal kit that fits almost all car models. Or you can even search for all the details separately, in this case the materials will cost you even cheaper.The next step is the very process of installing PTFE on your car.Installing fog lights on the bumper- disconnect the terminals from the battery. This is done so that a short circuit does not accidentally occur during work.- remove the bumper and crankcase protection, if it is on your car.- if there are already special places for PTFE, then simply remove the plugs and insert the headlights into the sockets. If there are no such places, then you will have to simply cut out the necessary holes in the bumper.- after fixing the PTFE in the bumper, one end of the wires is attached to the connectors on the headlights, the wires themselves are stretched under the hood and through the plug located under the wiper motor, we bring it into the cabin. We recommend fixing the wires under the hood with clamps so that they do not hang out and do not interfere with work.- we put the bumper and crankcase protection in their regular places.- in the cabin, we remove all elements that can interfere with work, including the panel under the steering wheel and the trim on the center console.- release the free button from the plug and connect the wires to it. In order to avoid any difficulties when installing a new element in a standard electrical circuit, we recommend using the wiring diagram of the PTF kit.- install in the cabin in the reverse order.- return the battery terminal to its place.- check the operation of the fog lights.- if necessary, use a special screw located in the headlights themselves to adjust the direction of light by changing the angle of the headlights.
